presentation of the 125 Seventy Five 2014

Proud of its little Seventy roadster, Mash continues its offensive in the 125 segment. Nostalgia lulls so many hearts that the little teases know how to catch the eye. And the Seventy Five plays this up with gusto. With its British flair and enhanced equipment, it's sure to attract a clientele fond of machines with cachet and welcome simplicity.

the Seventy Five is based on the 125 Seventy, with a number of changes to the chassis. The frail 35 mm fork is replaced by an inverted 38 mm unit. Spoke rims have been upgraded to 17 inches, and wider tires are fitted. As for braking, it becomes more serious. The front disc is 80 mm larger, while the rear has a 220 mm drum. The new shock absorbers are said to be firmer. As a result, the Five should prove more rigorous on the road. Aside from these technical aspects, the fuel tank has been enlarged by 2 liters, giving a total capacity of 14 units. A flat saddle, knee-length grips, a mouth that hits the bull's-eye, and we've got ourselves a mini-Bonneville. Charm only you!

the little engine that powers the Mash also smacks of vintage. Derived from an old Suzuki block, it produces a dozen or so horsepower and decent performance, but nothing more. But that's not what we want from it. On the other hand, in terms of fuel consumption, we're talking real economy: in the region of 3 liters per 100 km, enough for a range of over 400 km. While we're on the subject of figures, let's put forward the Seventy Five's shock argument: its rock-bottom price. This can be explained by its country of origin, China. Manufactured in the world's largest economy, with its unrivalled production capacity, the Mash is widely accessible to all pockets. Chinese indeed, but with a French eye on production and on the coat of arms. You'll forget all that, and you won't even care once you've been captivated by the machine's style. All that remains to be seen is how reliable and well finished it will be over time.

French Mashtock Model 2020
I bought a used Mash Seventy Five.
Apart from the fading legends on the controls, the green dot on the left of the indicator light under the speedometer which has disappeared, the quality of some of the silentblocs on the speedometer which have burned out as if they were from another era, and the plastic on the side indicators which are fading and crumbling, I have nothing to say about this bike.
Although I'm in a region that's divided between flat and uphill, you quickly find the Mash's limits. What I deplore is the maintenance carried out by the previous owner, who told me that the bike had always been maintained by a professional, but certain things left me dubious..... It already didn't have a rear brake, supposedly because it only braked from the front! I don't mind, especially if you want to smash your face... And I confidently rode it for 88 km, although I had my doubts about the sound of metal rubbing against metal at times, and the feeling of tapping on the foot calendar, only to realize that the chain was extremely slack! Otherwise, apart from the above-mentioned maintenance, I like the bike aesthetically and to ride too, but it's not adapted to frequented country roads, to my great regret: you become the target of unwary motorists....
After that, it sometimes doesn't start on the first turn, but once it's warmed up this problem quickly disappears.

bj , i own a seventy five green from 2018 she has 12000 kms no rust spot, original battery , very good pick up i ride 98 exellium ,very good braking thanks to the 3 piston disc and wide tire on this model 110 av and 130 ar changed by bridegestone 14 liter tank for a very large autonomy ,max speed 140 meter so more than 120 real and yes on highway
only one bulb burnt out at 1 euro rear. engine vibrates but very robust, on the other hand cleaned regularly, chain changed at 10000kms but not worn, oil change and filter and spark plug replaced according to specifications, starts at 1/4 turn. really surprised and happy given the price of this bike compared to others whose price of over 5000 euros is an aberration for a 125.

French Jeff2A Model 2018
It's a pity there's not even a rpm counter, otherwise the silhouette is nice and above all the weight is light, and so is the price...as for the rest, obviously these low-cost models can sometimes hold nasty surprises. I once experienced this on a SYM Wolf, where the spokes broke due to vibrations... and even regular maintenance didn't help... Rating : 3/5
Pas de contrôle qualité... Dommage.
French James Model 2018
Nice look, good position for smaller riders and decent comfort. On the other hand, the rear wheel bearings just failed at 1700 km!...which allowed the dealer to realize that the hub was also defective. The fuel tank had to be changed before 1000 km as it was leaking. And the pot at overhaul because it was rusting... mash, it's a lottery. Some don't have any problems. And then there are the others... Rating : 2/5

J\'avoue ..
my 2017 seventyfive is getting on my nerves ... starting problems (the garages can't find out why), brake problems (apparently known to be due to the distributor, a bleed has been done), problems with the lights coming on for no reason ...
Well ... for starters, it's not very confidence-building :\'(

You were unlucky or I think you didn't take care of your bike, mash is like anything else you have to take care of it and use it normally. Water coup de gens achète une moto 125 et ne se pose aucune questions sur l'entretien. S is rolling and we clean not grease and I leave it outside all the time. Mash are good, unpretentious bikes at a reasonable price. My wife's bike is spotless, with no rust or breakdowns. Rating : 4/5
