presentation of the 750 Corsaro Sport 2025
A mid-size sportbike, not too radical, with a V-Twin in the gut and almost 100 hp in the pipes... We could see this kind of machine coming out of Ducati, or even Suzuki if the SV-S 's engine had been pumped up to 800.
But no, we're talking about the next Moto-Morini Corsaro 750 Sport. An Italian-Chinese mix that has clearly understood that to please the market, you need to believe (or make people believe) in a good dose of passion, a ladle of sport, the right clothes and a guarantee of quality.
Futuristic, taut, menacing, this machine's fairing is undeniably striking and rewarding. Especially in that retina-striking red. Morini has put his Italian design office to work, and the result is far more enticing than a stylistic study made in China. If the fever is on its skin, its body is in a different mood.
For the Sport is a jogging version of the 750 Corsaro. As is now common practice, the roadster is dressed up to look like a sports bike. The competition has been leading the way for some time: the Suzuki GSX-8S becomes the GSX-8R, the Kawasaki Z 650 switches to the Ninja 650, the Honda CB 500 Hornet and CB 650 R mutate into the CBR 500 R and CBR 650 R - there are plenty of them.
Morini took care to go a step further than a simple dress. By raising the seat by 20 mm (to 840 mm), installing half-guidelines under the fork crown, and repositioning the footrests (a few centimetres higher and further back), the Corsaro Sp offers a forward-leaning riding position. More restrictive, but with a much more incisive driving feel.
Of all the sports bikes in its class, the 7-and-a-half Corsaro Sport will be the only one powered by a V-twin. A choice out of step with the current parallel-twin trend, but rewarding in many ways: the character of this engine is almost always enchanting, the block is narrower, it purrs in the frame, better balance and a nice distribution of torque. On the other hand, it's bulkier lengthwise.
This berlingot is angled at 87°, as it comes from the big 1200, but downsized to 749 cm3. It will deliver 96 hp - a figure that's about to be lowered, as the limit for A2 bridleability is 95 horsepower. As the Sport is announced for A2, the 70 kW will have to be validated before the bike arrives. The crankshaft is counter-rotating (to improve agility) and lubrication is by dry sump (for even greater compactness).

Digital technology is not to be outdone. Morini has installed a color TFT screen in the cockpit, and a number of assistants in the inner workings. Details have not been released, but hints reveal ABS, traction control, several driving modes, cruise control... and the rest will be revealed in a few months.
In terms of performance, the Corsaro Sport boasts a top speed of over 210 km/h and a weight of under 200 kg.
This Moto-Morini is full of promise, and its equipment is exciting. If the price remains in line with Chinese pricing policy, it should be of interest to more than just the curious.
