presentation of the 350 Rumble 2025
What matters most in today's image-driven society? Is it really necessary to be or to appear to be, even if it means not quite being what you are? We'll leave the subject of philosophy for the baccalaureate at that, but these are pretty much the questions we ask ourselves when we see this pretty little custom with all the makings of an American loudmouth..
good-looking
The A2 custom market has lately been offering increasingly sophisticated machines. Hyosung launched the first "replica" model. By this we don't mean a copy of an American model, but a reworking of the codes that make a custom a custom: meticulous styling, quality parts and... a V2!
Some competitors try to defy the ban by offering a different motorization, such as the CFMOTO 450 CL-C or the Kawasaki 650 Vulcan and 500 Eliminator. But in the eyes of a purist, this will never be the true authentic taste. Luckily for Moto-Morini, the V-twin has often made the brand's reputation, even if not for its custom bikes. With the introduction of the new 3 1/2 Sport, however, the Italians had an engine base that lent itself perfectly to the custom exercise.
I'm talking about the engine in the aesthetics chapter, but the mechanical part also contributes to the success of the styling. The first stone in the edifice is therefore a good one. And Moto-Morini hasn't made any mistakes in the rest either. The bike is very pleasing to the eye. The monochrome black paintwork gives us a machine that's very much in tune with the times, and with the desired effect of a very contemporary Bobber.
The image doesn't give us the physical rendering, but you should know, for example, that this bike isn't that small, since its 1445 mm wheelbase is only 73 mm shorter than that of a Harley-Davidson Sportster S. Confusion from afar may be the order of the day, and good luck guessing that this Italian bike only has a cubic capacity of 350 cm2! The balloon tires complete the muscular look of this little custom.
The touch of modernity continues in the equipment: LED lights and a 5-inch TFT screen that serves as the dashboard and also features an integrated navigation system.

more cruiser than dragster
The Rumble is powered by a 350 cm³ twin, derived from the Moto-Morini 3 ½ platform. In this custom version, it delivers 32.6 horsepower perched at 8,500 rpm. Maximum torque of 31 Nm is fortunately available earlier, at 6,500 rpm. A V2 that's betrayed by its origins more devoted to a roadster than a custom with, admittedly, some length, but undoubtedly a lack of a little fat down low. As with true custom bikes, the final drive is belt-driven.
The engine is housed in a double-cradle steel frame which, while sharing genes with the 3 ½, has probably been modified at the rear to incorporate a double shock absorber with 100 mm of travel and adjustable preload, rather than a single shock absorber.
The 43 mm inverted front fork is very generous, but also contributes to the styling. Its travel is 120 mm. As a result, ground clearance is 160 mm and the seat is only 735 mm off the ground. A true motorcycle accessible to all.
The 16-inch wheels are fitted with 130/90 tires at the front and 150/80 at the rear - which gives the shoes a chunky, muscular look, but should make the agility heavier. Braking is as solid as on the Sport 3 ½ sibling, with a 300 mm front disc bitten by a 4-piston radial-mount caliper. The rear brake is a 255 mm disc with a 2-piston caliper. Everything is monitored by dual-channel ABS, the bike's only electronic safeguard.

rumble to rumble around town
Despite its well-crafted looks, this modestly-displaced motorcycle is destined to parade around town rather than in the great outdoors. If, however, you have the urge to travel, this little machine can do it, but the secondary network will be its preferred terrain. In the A2 customs clan, some bikes are undoubtedly more versatile, such as the Honda CMX500, but when it comes to style, the Italian is the real deal!
