presentation of the 1200 Corsaro80 2017
At the Bike Expo in Verona, Moto-Morini showcased its Corsaro roadster in this very limited edition. The Corsaro80 conveys the history of the manufacturer, born... 80 years ago; hence the name of this creation.
Alfonso Morini, who gave his name to the brand, was born in 1898. But it was not until 1937 that he was able to found his company. This was followed by victories, titles, a strong reputation in the 70s, and a certain 175 Settebello "Short Rods" on which Giacomo Agostini raced for the first time.
Based on the Corsaro 1200 ZZ, the Italian manufacturer concocted 8 examples, one for each decade. To celebrate this anniversary, the "80" uses noble materials and finishes to set itself apart. These include the hand-machined aluminum tank and the massive use of carbon: for the brake and clutch levers, handlebars, wheels and some trim parts. A nod to history, for the discerning connoisseur.
