presentation of the 850 V9 Bobber Special Edition 2024
While bobbers are legion in American production, there are few and far between in Europe. Triumph's 1200, a handful of artisanal productions, Guzzi's V9 Bobber... and that's about it. At Mandello, we thought that a small special series would bring it back to the forefront of the custom scene.
the big tires, the dark look, the evil stare, this V9 already has it. The manufacturer is going to make it more grumpy with fork gussets, handlebar-end mirrors and two-tone paint to cover the tank and aluminum side panels. The fuel tank cap is also machined aluminum.
its 853 cm3 V-Twin engine is enhanced by slip-on exhausts with special aluminum tips. An aggressive touch to match the Guzzi's characteristic musicality, as well as the exhaust cylinders on either side of the machine.
The front fender is advertised as shorter, but it doesn't look much different from that of the standard V9 Bobber.
with this, the Italian brigand looks a little more "garage" than truly custom. Claiming to be a sporty machine, its 65 horsepower may make you smile, but the soul of a Guzzi isn't there. It's only when you start up that you get a glimpse of its spirit; it's only when you're riding that you understand what it wants. A typically Italian concoction, where only the heart really counts.
