presentation of the V 100 Mandello S 2023
The V100 Mandello is a Guzzi event. For its looks, for its technology, for its more modern positioning than the manufacturer's classic image? A bit of all of the above, but above all because of its engine. It's a brand-new, new-generation twin, a whole new dimension for the brand's intrinsic architecture.
The Italian block is faithful to the raised, lateral arrangement of the cylinders. But the cylinders have been rotated by 90°, the intake and exhaust systems have been completely rearranged, and the engine has been fitted with 2 ACT and 4 valves in each cranium... and the insolence continues with liquid cooling. Cleaner, more compact and more muscular, this 1043 cm3 is Guzzi's future, enabling the Mandello to offer 115 hp and 10.7 mkg.
This bike is a complete departure from the "Classic" products in the range. It's a road bike with a crossover edge, ready to take on new territories. The top-of-the-range "S" version is the first Guzzi equipped with semi-active suspension. Plus Öhlins. The Swedish package is supervised by the Driving Modes, which set the dynamic behavior theme. Next, the Smart EC 2.0 electronic control unit adapts settings in real time according to the road and the mood on board.
Heated grips, a shifter and the M-G-MIA multimedia system (Bluetooth, smartphone pairing, call and music management, GPS functions, etc.) enhance the content.
New features on the Mandello (standard and S) include small deflectors on the sides of the fuel tank. These have nothing to do with sporty winglets, which are supposed to press the front end to the ground. Here, the appendages pivot automatically according to speed and riding style, to reduce air pressure on the rider. The rider can also vary the height of the bubble electrically. In addition to electronics, this bike also features active aerodynamics

This Mandello is a fine Guzzi, with the most powerful production engine ever offered by the manufacturer - with the exception of the exclusive MGS-01 Corsa- a refreshing identity, quality suspension and something new at every level.
