presentation of the 1100 GRISO 2010

initially a styling study, the surprising Griso has won over the public to such an extent that the Mandello-based brand is now seriously considering marketing it. It's not far from a street-bike, but with typical Guzzi presence and stature. This big roadster, which some see as the successor to the Centauro, is built with muscle. The engine and the impressive single-arm are given pride of place in the design. The same one already fitted to the 1100 Breva. A beautiful inverted fork, jars for brake and clutch fluid, a sporty dashboard and large exhaust pipes - the beast immediately sets the mood. Originality should go hand in hand with this big roadster, which is already shaping up to be surprising.

even before praising or criticizing the Griso's behavior, it's important to emphasize and, above all, applaud the talent of the designers who followed in their footsteps. Beautiful when it was born as a concept bike, it has remained fascinating, sculptural, majestic... just as it was in its early days, despite the obligations of mass production. Is that what matters? Yes and no. Of course, we expect a motorcycle, whether beautiful or not, to deliver. But the most important thing is to enjoy yourself - and the Griso succeeds in doing just that. Like a work of art on display.

Yes, well, that's all well and good, but when are we going to drive it? There's no question of letting it sleep in the living room. A motorcycle isn't just for the eyes; it's got to take angles and master the asphalt. So saddle up! The first step is to familiarize yourself with the riding position. It's not easy, as the wide seat and frame tubes spread your legs apart while your hands reach for the handlebars. A typical position on a typical roadster - not bad for the look, even if it means sacrificing a little comfort. Oh, don't think you're going to have to tame a virulent thoroughbred like a Ducati S4R or a Benelli TnT. The Griso's ardour lies above all in its charismatic appearance. Open to pleasure riding and unctuous pleasure, it rides with the breath of the big 1100 transverse twin. Does a long, tempting series of twists and turns make your nervous system itch? The Guzzi won't let you down. The generous ground clearance, neutral front end and responsive brakes will keep you on your toes. If you push hard enough, you'll notice a weakness in the front end as you negotiate curves at high speed. This is not due to the damping, which is firmer than on the Breva cousin, but to the weight, which is carried more to the rear. But will you spend your time riding the Griso as you would a Hypersport? No, you'd rather show it off on the terrace of your favorite café. When you get there, you'll realize that it could steer better than this. Once parked, enjoy a cup of Italian coffee and smile at the sight of passers-by amazed by your Griso.

Hello; it's been just 3 years since I posted the penultimate message and I can only confirm everything I said before. The Griso is superb, I've never had the slightest problem with it. It runs and runs without a care in the world. I'm happy with my purchase and the only doubt I have is whether the 8v would suit me better ...... ..... Rating : 5/5

Since November 2007, when I bought my GRISO 1100, I've never been able to ride a single kilometer with an intact machine
It all started the FIRST time I started the bike, with a faulty dashboard. Since then, problems have followed one another with infernal regularity. I've had electrical problems, paint and corrosion problems, and above all mechanical problems that have remained unresolved for over six months, despite an impressive number of interventions
Faced with this disaster, I asked GUZZI for a standard exchange of this catastrophe on wheels: REFUSAL. I asked GUZZI for an extra year's warranty: REFUSED. I asked my dealer for a trade-in: REFUSED
Today, after several unsuccessful letters, I have no other solution but to take legal action
With this message, I can only advise all GUZZI enthusiasts seduced by the real driving qualities of these motorcycles to be wary, because what follows can be far less pleasant
As unity is strength, I'm here to listen to all GUZZI owners who encounter problems

Nice bike, I just bought it, I got it in September 2006, so it's been 6 months. Before that, I had BMWs, GS 800s, 1000s, K75s and Suzuki SV 650s. I hesitated a lot before switching to Guzzi, but what a difference! It's got character, it's not comparable to any other bike on the market. There's just the right amount of vibration, then the engine balances out and everything's impeccable. Quite comfortable for a GT sports roadster, very well finished, riding it is pure pleasure. The BM was the "moto raison", and the Guzzi is the "moto passion". Reliability-wise, no problems so far (I'll post more comments later if necessary). You can see that Mandello has made huge strides in this area; finish, quality of materials, etc. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth remembering that it's one of the few Europeans still made in Europe by European workers, and not "assembled" here with parts from elsewhere, as is often the case with other manufacturers. It has "only" 88 horsepower, but that's more than enough. We're not looking for power at any price, especially not in the rev range. Nothing to do with the Japanese, no hyper-powerful, linear engines, here it's another world. I've added a branded saddlebag, which is also very well thought-out and pretty, and doesn't break the overall line of the bike. Someone said it was designed by Michelange... I couldn't think of a better definition

I also have the poster at home, but I don't know if one day it will be mine. In any case, I dream about it. I saw it in real life at my Moto Guzzi dealer when I had my Breva 750 serviced, and I was amazed. Fabulous machine, unique style. Thanks Guzzi Rating : 5/5

The MOTO GUZZI GRISO 1100 is superb and has a fantastic engine. I was able to test it at the GMG 2005 in Mandello del Lario and I have to say that it will replace my Centauro in the near future

finally, I've fallen in love with it! I've been waiting for a while to replace my Triumph! Guzzi could at least inform us of its release, and display it so that we can wait to buy it! (no Guzzi stand at the Lyon show!!!!) Rating : 5/5
Superb, I want it too! A real "coup de coeur", the likes of which I haven't seen since I was a kid. But be careful, it still has to be easy to handle (given the length of the wheelbase), and reliable, especially if the dealer is like the one in dépt 21. Rating : 5/5

a guzzler at heart, i've been riding a Breva 750 for 8 months now (and i'm very happy with it: nice, reliable, fun), mainly to wait for the griso ... a big roadster that's out of the ordinary. my dealer has "officially" announced it for september 2005, at less than 11,000€ ?! can't wait for the test ride! i'm already drooling. GOOOOOD VIBRATIONS! (normal, for a Guzzi) Ciao! Rating : 5/5
