presentation of the 1100 V 11 CAFE SPORT 2005
...this is one of the predispositions of Guzzi's new café racer. It has to be said that in this bronze livery adorned with gold suspension, the Italian roadster, the umpteenth variation based on the V 11, lacks neither assets nor charm. The driving position is a delight to contemplate, with handlebars mounted on magnificent aluminum bridges. One look at the meters, and the eye is irresistibly drawn to the ends of the upper tee, imprisoning the gold-anodized fork tubes. Above all, there's the engine, with its emblematic layout and its big, fat kicks that make you appreciate every twist of the handle.
On the Café Sport, the emphasis is on precision and handling. Öhlins components can be found everywhere: inverted forks, rear monoshock and steering damper all come from the famous manufacturer. The V 11 CS also features a number of carbon components, and its exhausts are now catalyzed.
The elegance remains, the sporting spirit invites itself - all that's missing is your enthusiasm.
