presentation of the STELVIO 1200 8V 2014
determined to establish its Stelvio in the trail segment, Guzzi has given it a little grooming in 2011. Nothing extraordinary, just a few cosmetic touches that go virtually unnoticed. The front end is a tad more aggressive, rider protection is enhanced by a new bubble, and there are superb new multi-spoke rims and a new muffler - but it's above all the enormous fuel tank capacity that catches our eye: the Stelvio's 18-liter tank is now 32 liters. At last, the Stelvio's roadster range can be transformed into a traveler's range.
without touching its 8-valve engine, Guzzi has modified its behavior to make the trail bike smoother and more enjoyable. A new electronic system reduces power and torque, but makes the bike more available. As the chassis is not particularly critical, Mandello has only revised the fork springs, lightened the brake discs and installed the same rear tire on the standard Stelvio as on the NTX, a 150 / 70 - 17. Weight is down by 2 kgs, the dashboard has been slightly redesigned and new colors continue to set the Stelvio apart.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 8 reviews
Comfort that I haven't found on other big trail bikes, a shaft that's beyond reproach, and an engine that's very available at all revs.
The only complaint in town is that it's a bit hot on the knees, which can be a bit unpleasant in summer!
Rating : 4/5 Respond to Olpetit
- received a 2010 Stelvio manual after 2 months.
- suitcases received at the end of december not the right color, since then nothing new.
- various oil seepage (gearbox, axle)
- rust on exhaust elbows.
Riding, engine and transmission without reproach, very good comfort except for the impossibility of "holding" the bike with the knees (nothing to tighten there except the intake pipes, I still have the trace of a burn from the end of October).
