presentation of the 750 V7 III Limited 2018

There's no stopping the V7 III in its whirlwind of special series. MV-Agusta, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati Scrambler, and now Moto-Guzzi; the range of models is endless, whatever the flag or nation. For Mandello's 750 roadster, we're up to what? 4? 5? 6? No, it's the 7th version based on the V7. This time, it's called Limited. On the one hand, because it's a limited edition (facile....) of 500; on the other, because of its classic yet elegant look and frivolous materials.

a steel skeleton, lungs escaping from the edges, that's the Guzzi body. When it came time to dress up for Wheels & Waves, the Limited took the rims to the wardrobe, mixing Racer and Carbon outfits. This V7 stands out with its chrome tank, sparkling to perfection. A strip of leather runs through the tank, anchoring the steering column. The steering column bears another Limited feature: the plate above the bridges is laser-engraved with the serial number.
Moto-Guzzi 750 V7 III Limited 2018A little aluminum? That's for the fuel filler cap. A pinch of carbon? Let's use it for the mudguards and airbox side plates.
Guzzi has omitted a dual speedometer and spoked wheels; a pity. But there's a special "old school" seat, black injection housing covers, and a generous milling of the cylinder head cooling fins.

another special series for the V7 III... but it's nothing exceptional, and it's just another way of expressing a customization exercise. Would presenting it at the Biarritz motorcycle, fun and surf festival have any anti-conformist appeal? It might have been in the past, but today it's a fashion statement. Yet there's no denying the allure of the whole. Enough to make you forget the primary function of the 52-hp twin-cylinder engine with its typical character. Taking you for a gentle ride, Italian Riviera style.

V7 limited
After riding 750xlv 1200gs trails, xj900 1300fjr roadsters ... and GT electra glide, here I am on this irresistible V7
Smooth engine, generous purr, easy access. It's back to basics, simple and efficient, with a hell of a mouth and a limited version that's better looking in person than in photos.
