with the 1400 Eldorado, would Moto-Guzzi like to rekindle the thirst for gold and glory that led so many men to hope and conquer unknown lands? Not exactly. Rather, the Mandello-based brand is offering a deliciously vintage, stripped-down version of the California, and in the process paying homage to the 850 Eldorado of the 70s.

Like its predecessor, the Eldorado is mounted on spoked wheels, with a delicate twist: whitewall tires. Classic and seductive every time. Note that the front wheel is reduced from 18 to 16 inches, and the boot dimensions are revised. The front 130/70 becomes a 130/90, while the rear clog is reduced to 180/65 (200/60 on the Calif).
Let's return to the inspiration of the past and those elements that have travelled in the DeLorean. Thus, the rear of the fuel tank is covered with chrome surfaces, the rear mudguard is totally modified, losing its LED rivulets for a round, full-retro headlamp, a new bar goes around the passenger seat and the side shocks are covered with covers.
On the Eldorado, the "cow's horn" handlebars take on maximum ease. You'll feel like you've got a grip on the whole road. The deep seat brings you closer to it, with a seat height down to 724 mm, 16 mm less than the California.
