The young NeuWai brand aims to offer a futuristic, offbeat and powerful version of the electric motorcycle. The MF 104 is halfway between a concept and the projection of a Korean-style electric sports bike. Not an Energica Ego-style sports bike, but an invigorating, dynamic motorcycle scheduled for launch in 2020.
Beneath its innovative design, the bike houses a fearsomely powerful electric motor. Although it only delivers 25 Kw continuously (with a maximum of 40 Kw), its torque is announced at 700 Nm. Insane! Unrealistic, even: that's just about the power that a 5-liter V10 TDI produces in a German car.
Rated for a top speed of around 200 km/h, the MF 104 weighs in at 250 kilos - a figure well within the range of this electron-powered category. Range, always a factor to be taken with a pinch of salt, is a respectable 150 kms. As for recharging, pricing and availability, the data oscillates between the vague and the unknown.
The NeuWai MF 104 adds to the list of enthusiastic projects... which we don't know if they'll ever see the light of day. It would be backed up by a cruiser, based on the same technology but slightly heavier, slower and more torquey. For the moment, distribution is not planned for France.

Potential customers are going to start thinking it's all bogus: there's only a design and... lousy specs (when the NEDC standard says 150km range, it's less than 50 on the freeway...).
Electric motorcycles already exist, and EVA and EGO d'Energica are the best examples, with impressive performance but ridiculous range.
Personally, I'd sign up straight away for an electric GT with 350km of freeway range (so at least 500km in NEDC) and the comfort of my K16GT... Rating : 1/5 Respond to DantonQ
