CFMoto continues its expansion in Europe with a new model due in 2025: the 675 NK, a roadster that could well shake up the medium-displacement motorcycle market.
The three-cylinder continues
This principle will be based on the platform of the recent 675 SR-R, a sports bike unveiled at CFMOTO Day in China, which has already caused a sensation with its three-cylinder, 675 cm³, 95 hp engine. This engine has been designed to be A2 license compliant, making the bike accessible to a wide audience. The 675 NK will retain most of the SR-R's technical features, such as the aluminum frame, banana-shaped swingarm and inverted fork, while adopting a fairing-free design. This sleek, roadster-like look is said to offer a more upright and comfortable riding position, thanks to the addition of high tubular handlebars.
CFMoto has already made its mark on the mid-size roadster segment. With its 800NK, the brand had already made a remarkable entry into this category in 2023, although sales, with 487 registrations as of mid-August this year, have yet to live up to expectations. Nevertheless, CFMoto is determined to strengthen its position in this crucial market in 2025 with the probable release of the 675 NK, a model of which a prototype in development was recently spotted...

A threat to Japanese roadsters... and European ones?
Ultimately, this new model is destined to compete directly with Japanese and European roadsters, such as the Triumph Street Triple 675, thanks to its engine, a first for CFMoto. Although the engine is reminiscent of Triumph's, the Chinese brand claims to have developed it independently, with characteristics focused on dynamic mid-range revs, ideal for everyday use.
The first images of the prototype show a motorcycle with aggressive, modern lines, with a weight that could be less than 190 kg, thus improving its handling. In terms of equipment, the 675 NK makes no compromises, with ABS, traction control, a quickshifter, full LED lighting and a TFT screen with connectivity. All in all, these features confirm CFMoto's ambition to position itself as a key player on the European market.
Arrival in Europe is scheduled for 2025, after an initial launch in Asia. All eyes are now on the forthcoming EICMA show in Milan, where the 675 NK could be officially unveiled. By offering a well-equipped, high-performance motorcycle at a potentially competitive price, CFMoto is preparing to seduce a new clientele in search of novelty and innovation.
