After the M1 at the Jerez round of MotoGP and the endurance R1 at the Suzuka 8 Hours, Yamaha Motor Company's 70th anniversary celebrations continue for the final round of the 2025 FIM Superbike World Championship in Jerez this weekend. Yamaha teams are sporting special 70th anniversary colors for Sunday's races.
The official Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK team, the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK team and the Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing WorldSSP team are all set to race in the red and white 70th anniversary colors, which are inspired by the iconic livery of the famous 1999 YZF-R7, in the second races of WorldSBK and WorldSSP this Sunday.

In addition to the unique colors for the R1 WorldSBK and R9 WorldSSP, riders will pair their new colors with leather suits made for the occasion.
The colors were unveiled at a photo shoot in Jerez on Thursday, with the media getting a sneak preview of the livery ahead of this weekend's races.
Andrea Dosoli, Division Manager, Yamaha Motor Europe:
We're all very proud to play our part in Yamaha's 70th anniversary celebrations with a special 70th anniversary livery inspired by the 1999 YZF-R7 in WorldSBK and WorldSSP on Sunday. The R7 was a bike that captured the imagination of fans around the world, and of course, was a machine that enjoyed significant success in the World Superbike Championship, so running those colors here again will be a special moment for all of us. Yamaha's heritage speaks for itself, it's a truly iconic brand, and we're sure these instantly recognizable colors will evoke emotional memories for many racing fans around the world.
