The 650 Shotgun loves transformism. In fact, that's how it began its career: under theMotoverse special edition, unveiled at the festival of the same name in Goa. Without waiting a few years to establish its presence, the Indian bobber is already releasing another limited series: theIcon.
With a hell of a color scheme! Here's a motorcycle that's sure to delight the eye, the quip and the smile. This Royal Enfield dares, challenges, explodes the chromatic field and teeters on the edge of pop-culture. It would pose perfectly for a Pink Floyd album (white horses needed to get the ref').
This color scheme is not totally unknown. Icon Motosports used it on its "Always Something" concept bike, already based on the Shotgun (with an FZ 750 headstock, endurance tank and ZX-10R suspension). Pastel-blue and peroxide-red essences support the superstructure, then distinctive elements reflect its custom spirit: contrasting gold rims, blue shock absorber springs, a red saddle adorned with the logo and handlebar-tip mirrors.
Stylish from head to wheels
This alliance is further enhanced by a Slabtown Intercept RE jacket designed by Icon to match the Shotgun. A small gift supplied with each of the 100 units.

This Shotgun Icon Motosports special edition costs 800 euros more than the most basic model in the range. Between the decoration work and the jacket offered, Royal-Enfield is really nice. The same package from Ducati or MV-Agusta would cost 5 times as much.
Aside from its extravagance, it's no different from the standard Shotgun. It's a stylish ride with 47 horsepower from its 648 cm3 parallel twin. Retro charm, an easy-on-the-eyes engine, a bucolic domain and 240 kilos of Indian philosophy. A far cry from a 750 Hornet or a significantly less expensive MT-07. But can you compare blues to techno?!
