The Meteor 350 may be one of the smallest cruisers on the market, but that doesn't stop it from presenting the same facets as the big boys. With a minimalist abundance of equipment, which Royal-Enfield presents as levels of finish.

with the Supernova, we're in the most upscale of Meteor presentations. Only with this version can you get two-tone colors and a slightly more advanced finish on the rims. A touch of luxury that goes hand in hand with comfort. In fact, you'll ride better equipped on this version: a sissy-bar and a touring bubble will be your touring buddies.

but beware: better equipped doesn't mean faster. The Meteor is made for cruising around, not for cutting bollards. Its modest single-cylinder engine will only be at home with its nose to the wind and the scent of relaxation. Its 20 horsepower have a certain charm and are enough for everyday use - not to agitate the tachometer.

after all, the Meteor 350 Supernova's target market is anyone who wants a retro-style bike that's reasonably priced, doesn't care about performance and is easy to live with. A three-and-a-half-bike that costs less than a KTM 125 Duke doesn't come along that often.

when you look at this engine, your first impression is of a mechanic from another time, a long time ago. Yet it looks young. And it is. This is the Indian firm's latest block, designed to satisfy the essential needs of motorcyclists in a whole host of countries.
The chassis is a classic double-cradle tubular steel frame, with one brake disc per wheel, a 41 mm fork and a set of two shock absorbers.

nothing extravagant, just a simple bike with an endearing design, a discreet dose of seduction and the scent of Asia's doorstep. I'm not talking about a chinoiserie or a firecracker made in an inflatable hammer factory... but a machine with more composed considerations. The Meteor is also equipped with a simplified navigation module called "Tripper" and a USB socket. Retro but not old-fashioned.
For 2024, we'll be adding new aluminium controls and LED headlights.
