presentation of the TU 250 X Volty 2000

suzuki dusts off the 250 GN by modifying it into this TU. It retains the frame and rear damping. The fork is new; the two-seater seat, the larger fuel tank and the big headlight give it a pleasant nostalgic touch. For the price of most recent 125 "grosses", the TU offers a 250 mono with a friendly voice but measured performance. Don't expect to have your arms torn off. However, this academic power has the merit of being present where it's needed. The good finish won't make you forget the stiffness of the suspension. As with all Suzuki models, the front brake lacks bite. This SUV performs wonderfully in the city, benefiting from carefree roadholding. The driver is comfortable, the passenger a little less so as the seat is a little tight.

Pourquoi je rouke en Volty 250
French TSVD Model 2001
Bj, mine's from 1997, and apart from oil changes and brake pad replacements, I DON'T DO ANYTHING on it. It's noisy, it's a pain in the butt sometimes, but I love it. Braking =... like an old BM, you have to brake a few seconds beforehand! I had several bikes, like a small collector, but I preferred to keep this one instead of a Bonneville: this one's pretty, but nobody steals it, and I often park it without using a padlock. A little hitch: I couldn't find any original amortos (cheap, they're not available), so I fell back on adaptables, which are shorter: problem putting it on the side. I could go on and on. Ah, because of mother Annie Dingo, I ride more often with an Inazuma critair 2. Bonne route à tous et toutes. Rating : 4/5

Hello
There is a SUZUKI specialist in ARDECHE CLAUDE MILLART who is on the web and also on most of the motorcycle exchanges. Normally it is easy to find in EUROPE because this motorcycle has been very successful in ITALY AND SPAIN.

I rode 28,000kms without any problems, the only thing was the exhaust pipe connection, which I welded back together. I took the opportunity to make a sheet metal gusset so that the exhaust gases wouldn't be braked by the other pipei even managed to get an extra tooth on the gearbox exit, which doesn't make it go any faster, but it's got more length, so it can go around 115<120 kmh, but I've taken it up to 140 kmh on a false flat once or twice<br>good rides! Very economical motorcycle, 3 l. for 100 km. Sufficient power for all kinds of roads. Rating : 5/5
French Batou Model 1997
Having covered 1,500 km in 3 weeks with mine (mostly on small mountain roads), I can give my first impressions: On small, winding roads, this machine is nice, the engine is sufficient for cruising around, but it doesn't really appreciate the main roads, but that's to be expected. Handling: very good, light and easy to place, even if it waddles in fast curves, but that's due to the frame and soft suspension -I'll have to change the fork, by the way- The look is simply magnificent, I fell for it straight away, especially as the second-hand price was low; that must be because it's hard to resell, but as I intend to wear it out !!!! I bought it with 9500 km on the clock. To sum up, I'd say that when you choose a TU 250, you get all the advantages of a 125, but with a lot less of the drawbacks, i.e. more power, more torque, smaller parking space, lighter weight, the tires are a bit wider but don't make the steering any heavier... and the fuel consumption is lower than on a 125, both in terms of fuel and consumables. I chose this machine to back up my SV650 when I'm going to work, or for short trips around town. I wanted to make an economical choice - so not the nsr 125, which I like so much - and a practical one, but without going back to the 125: that was my choice, and I don't regret it, because I enjoy my TU250 as much as my SV ... but they're different pleasures.
