presentation of the SV 650 Cafe Racer par Kikishop 2016
Suzuki wants to give its SV 650 more cachet. We recently discovered the Scrambler limited series. But customization can go further, as the Kikishop workshop demonstrated at Wheels and Waves 2016. Officially unveiled at the Café Racer Festival, the SV 650 prepared by Kikishop represents another opportunity for Suzuki to unveil the customization potential of this dapper roadster.
the idea: a Café Racer version. Following a major Facebook competition, fans voted and chose this version to create a radical-looking SV 650.
the one-off SV 650 Café Racer, fresh from "Kiki Shop Customs", is equipped with :
- New half fairing
- Prepared fork crown
- GSX-R 1000 Yoshimura exhaust system
- Bridgestone BT-003-RS tires
- KSC custom matte paint
- Tandem seat and backrest
- Turn signals, foot pegs, Rizoma rearview mirror
- Racing half handlebars
- License plate holder
jérémie Magri needed 3 weeks to complete the transformation. If you feel like it, it will cost you around €12,00 0 incl. VAT(SV 650 included).
jérémie MAGRI "Kiki Shop Customs":"When I received the bike, I was surprised by its looks: it's pretty and its round headlight gives it a vintage feel. The engine is super torquey and runs hard. I had no source of inspiration, but I could see the bike in my head, and I wanted to make a machine that was practical and usable! The hardest part was adapting the half fairing with the original speedo and headlight, it had to be functional and harmonious."
will Suzuki pursue the adventure to the point of offering an SV 650 Cafe Racer in series production? It's all the rage to take on this kind of challenge.
