It's a flawless machine, with no particular complaints, a lively engine and invigorating road manners. But it's having trouble holding its own against the mid-size roadsters. That's because the MT-09, Street Triple and Z 900 have made bold choices, and it's paying off.

the Suzuki develops a taste of revenge. To tickle the market's fancy, the GSX-S boasts an Akrapovic version. In a rare departure from its long-standing partner Yoshimura, the GSX-S enjoys the benefits of a Slovenian carbon exhaust system, with a few extra watts and some nice vocals thrown in for good measure. Not to mention a significant weight reduction (2 kilos).
The bike's identity is given plenty of encouragement, with Akrapovic stickers on the hoof, mudguard and, more ferociously, on the tank. The deco has also gained in pugnacity on this limited series.

a little Machiavellian? Almost. But only 70 examples will have the heart to show it off. A numbered carbon plate attests to its classification. The exclusivity of this Suzuki GSX-S Akrapovic will be accompanied by a number of accessories: an aluminum plate holder, a textured seat and a seat cover. With a price tag of under 10,000, Suzuki is making an effort with a discount that's just a hair over the top.

Well, my point of view is biased, because as one of 70 owners, I'm clear, it's great.

there's the muffler, and the "Akra"-type deco, the plate holder, the alcantara and upgraded rider's seat, and the seat cover.
