presentation of the 1000 Katana Icon 2020
The Suzuki Katana attacks 2020 with a new limited series. Far less discreet than the S series and a little less aggressive than last year's Yoshimura edition. This time, the limited series is the fruit of a partnership with an American brand, Icon.
no relation to Ducati's Scrambler. Icon sells clothes and helmets in the land of Uncle Sam. It's all about quirky style. To dress this Katana, the approach is the same. In fact, Suzuki has used the design of the Airflite Stim Black helmet to tailor its suit. In keeping with the visual symbiosis, this same helmet will be offered with the hail.
10 units will be sold. They are distinguished by their night, pirate and green sun breeze decorations. A few accessories to rumble between morning and night? We've got that covered. Suz adds an Akrapovic exhaust system to the 1000 Katana Icon, giving it an extra 2 hp and 2 Nm, and a weight reduction of 1100 grams. The rear is lightened with an aluminum plate support, protection is increased with side skids, and a numbered plate is added to the tank to mark the exclusive side.
the Katana's price has inevitably risen, to 15,999 euros in this Icon opus. To ease the conscience, Suzuki offers a customer benefit of 1,690 euros.
