presentation of the 1050 V-Strom XT Pro 2020

To kick off the3rdquarter of 2020, Suzuki Italy is releasing a third special series of its big trail bike. The 1050 V-Strom XT gains the Pro suffix, synonymous with additional equipment for access to a pseudo GT label.

More road than adventure (like most SUV-motorcycles), the V-Strom is nonetheless willing to take some risks. Enjoy the pleasure of feeling the gravel under the wheels, try the humps and outcrops, almost smile at the approach of the gravel... The XT Pro believes in it.

Suz has added a few accessories to protect it during off-road riding. The aluminum engine cover takes care of the entire lower section of the engine; a set of crash bars takes over to limit shocks in the event of a recumbent.
A small dose of ergonomics is added with the installation of 20 mm height-adjustable footrests.

Carrying your gear is a must. A pair of aluminum panniers can carry 74 liters of cargo. Unlike the Sakigake version, this XT Pro doesn't come with a top-case. A pity for those who like to keep all their belongings under cover. On the other hand, there's plenty of room for a big bag with a few bungee cords.

Suzuki 1050 V-Strom XT Pro 2020 the whole package weighs the V-Strom down by around fifteen kilos. No problem for the 1037 cm3 twin, giving the crew 107 horsepower and over 10 mkg. As an XT, the best-equipped version in the range, this 1050 XT Pro is equipped with a wealth of electronics. Driving is supervised by three engine maps, three-level traction control + deactivation, cruise control, curve-active ABS with two modes, slope control to modulate forward/reverse braking on descents, hill-start assist, RPM Assist and Easy Start.

Following in the footsteps of the Machi and Sakigake, the 1050 V-Strom comes in a new accessorized package. Italians will appreciate it, provided they turn away from the much more charming (and expensive) Multistrada.
