Motorcycle specifications Suzuki1050 V-Strom XT World Adventure 2022 A wish from the antipodes
presentation of the 1050 V-Strom XT World Adventure 2022
This time, the V-Strom is really ready to go very far. For those who want to load it up like a mule, proudly mark their desire for a change of scenery and put a wheel down on either side of the world, Suzuki Belgium shows the way with a "World Adventure" version. More equipment, but above all a little more than that.
There 's a whole lot of decoration work here, which really changes the candor of the Suz' trail. Not war paintings, but adventurer tattoos as seen in literary or cinematic sagas. Add-ons are present, with piping on the rims and various stickers on the mudguard, tank sides and duckbill....
And there's a huge compass-world map between the seat and the filler cap, as well as on the sides of the top-case.
In this globe-trotting moment linked to this deco, symbolism is coded by geostrategic location data. The port coordinates on the tank indicate proximity to the Atomium in Laeken, north of Brussels - a famous monument representing the atomic structure of an iron crystal, created for the 1958 World's Fair. The starboard ones take us directly to Hamamatsu Town Hall, Suzuki's stronghold.
Before heading off to either destination, it's a good idea to pack a few things. This XT comes standard with full trekking-style luggage. The two aluminum panniers each hold 37 liters of cargo, but can only accommodate a helmet and only 3 kilos of load. The top-case has the same weight, but is larger enough to accommodate a helmet and 38 liters.
The V-Strom W.A. also gets an aluminum engine cover; not the largest in the catalog, but embellished with a small "World Adventure Edition" nameplate. As well as Gilles Tooling height- and forward-adjustable footrests, additional fog lamps, GPS support and the indispensable heated grips.

The 1050 V-Strom also relies on its 107 hp twin to offer strength and versatility. It's far from being the most powerful on the market, but it's certainly one of the most reasonable.
It's a different story for the electronics, which are loaded without being overflowing: cruise control, hill-start assist, triple engine mapping, 3-level traction control, intelligent braking system with ABS cornering / anti-stoppie / load-dependent modulation, inertial unit, Easy Start, Low RPM Assist, USB and 12V socket.
Let's not leave out the more essential stuff, such as the fully adjustable 43 mm inverted fork, radial brake calipers, adjustable seat and windscreen, 20-liter fuel tank, center stand, crash bars, and 10 mkg under the handle to lift it all.
