presentation of the 1200 Bobber TFC 2025
The TFC designation is back! Triumph Factory Customrefers to models that have received a special, polished treatment, like Harley-Davidson's CVOs. Few motorcycles have passed under the label, the last one dating from 2020.
It was a Bobber, which the brand is reviving with this 2025 edition. The wild, rebellious custom motorcycle takes on a more noble look, with remarkable features and finish.
The Bobber is noble and provocative
The TFC Bobber is dressed with elegance and depth in academic black, apostrophized by glittering gold-marble tongues. The latter are hand-painted, with the director signing his work on each tank. At once sober, precious and expressive, the machine is not lacking in panache.
Triumph wanted it to be sportier. In any case, with a first-class front end. It's made up of a superb Öhlins NIX 30, black and gold to blend in with the Bobber's style. The original handlebars are replaced by a set of bracelet handlebars for a more committed riding position and style. The front wheel changes profile, going from a low, imposing 130 mm wide and 16 inches high to a much narrower 100 mm, 19-inch bow.
But that's not all. The shock absorber hidden under the seat is also by Öhlins. Proud of its beautifully crafted bow, the Bobber opts for Brembo M50 brake calipers and an MCS master cylinder. All the more reason to eat the magnificent machined aluminum fork crown. A superbly crafted piece, bearing the TFC and serial number badges.
Aware that it carries an aura of superior enhancement, this TFC intends to show its grumpiness through its verve too. The 78 hp, 10.8 mkg twin 1200 is bolstered by an additional drive mode, called Sport, and a more aggressive engine map. Two Akrapovic mufflers finished with carbon end caps are there to liven up the fat soundtrack.
The 1200 Bobber TFC also boasts a number of well-chosen parts. Among these, let's take note and appreciate the gold chain, the carbon elements (airbox panels, front mudguard), the specific ignition key, the leather saddle and the engine badges.
It has also taken the trouble to lighten up a bit. 5 kilos less for this TFC, and the rear light that clears the way. The new multi-function indicators can play their part, while the stern becomes more streamlined.

on the subject of technology, Triumph has made the wise choice of retaining a needle-type speedometer to preserve the classic soul. But modernity is not far away, with a digital window, traction control, three driving modes and ABS.
Only three Triumphs have passed through the TFC workshop - the Rocket III, the Thruxton, and the Bobber. The Bobber is the only one to make a comeback. Like all the bikes produced by this department, the Triumph 1200 Bobber Triumph Factory Custom will be produced in a limited series of 750 units. The price? Nasty, of course. But there's no other way to think about it with this kind of aristocrat.
