presentation of the 900 Scrambler Icon Edition 2025
The Scrambler is, quite simply, a Bonneville that's taken a turn for the better. You can almost hear Cabrel singing next to it when you park it next to a wall of dust. Once it's sitting on the edge of the world, doesn't this Triumph want anything better?
It shows it with its presence in the Icon special series. Seven bikes, seven ways of seeing the classic movement, seven recipients of a typical decoration, with amenities revised to suit the wearer... Seven ways in which an old Triumph logo can be brought out of the box of memories.
As written under the pen, this emblem dates from before the Scrambler, before the Bonneville, even before the First World War. It was used from 1097 to 1914, in an era when only single-cylinders lived in the Coventry models.
This century-old logo takes its gold marks from the dark side of the tank. One of the distinguishing features of the Icon collection is the double coating of sapphire black and silver-grey, where each color is in love with its own territory, wanting to share it with the other without mixing. The piping is hand-painted, and membership of the Icon family is mentioned in two places: discreetly between the saddle and the exhausts, and more openly on a sticker placed in the middle-bottom of the tank.
Clothes to get you through the dust
Here's a touch of elegance smart enough to make the 900 Scrambler even more cheeky. With its jack-of-all-trades character, it's akin to varnishing your shoes before going for a walk on the paths around the edge of town.
Not too shabby, though. The Scrambler will soon make it clear that it's more of a suit than a monk.

Aside from this, the machine benefits from a pleasantly full twin, without being overpowering. The 65 horsepower are sufficient for a playful ride, but must carry more than 220 kg... dry. The very retro profile conceals modern-day technology, with disconnectable ABS and traction control, three riding modes (Rain / Road / Off-road), an anti-dribble clutch, USB socket and full LED lighting.
The Scrambler 900 Icon is only available for the 2025 season. That's how it is with Triumph's "collections": one theme = one year. This means a price increase of 600 euros.
Speaking of prices, the 900 Scrambler is the cheapest bike in this Icon edition.
