presentation of the Bonneville Hyde Harrier SE 2009
In preparation workshops across the Atlantic, we've gone one step further to celebrate a very special edition of the Bonneville: the 1987 Hyde Harrier. A café racer in its purest form, with a charming, stripped-down style, like a London terrace racer.
the Norman Hyde and Harris Performance workshops worked for 15 months to re-edit this Bonneville, using today's technology and special parts. The result is superb, extraordinarily close to the original from the late '80s. Technically, it's more imposing. The twin now measures 865 cm3, the suspension is Öhlins, the brakes are radial, from AP Racing, the rims are forged, polished and no longer spoke but spoke, and have fun taking a closer look... How about those braided hoses carrying the engine fluids? And those aluminum parts? And those huge headlights ready to gobble you up at night?
but this creation is also adaptable to your wishes, as it comes in kit form. Just pick up your Bonnie, fork over a cheque for £3995 (just under 5000 euros), and you've got all the parts you need to create your very own English café-racer. In addition to the aforementioned items, you'll also get the foot plates, tank, fairing, headlights, swingarm, rear hull, carbon mudguard, 2 hand-made stainless steel pots, an electrician's apprentice dashboard, and the rear stand to hold it all together. When you see this creation, you think Triumph could have gone much further with its Thruxton..
