the wind blows in 1956. Johnny Allen gazes at the horizon for a few moments before taking the controls of an extraordinary machine. The "Texas Cee-Gar" is ready, already thirsting for records. Its methanol-powered Thunderbird 650 engine will take it up to 345 km/h or 214.40 mph... Triumph has once again opened the glorious compendium of its past, and is now releasing yet another special series to commemorate its exploits of yesteryear.

this story is now told through the filigree of the Bonneville T 100, which becomes the T214. No need to tell you what that number refers to ;-). Derived from the T100 Black, it boasts a much more refined blue and white color scheme (that of the record-setting prototype), aided by a few neo-sporty details. The little red chequered flag on the flanks behind the engine, the white star on the front mudguard as on the rocket bike of the time, the record badge on the tank ; and to further distinguish itself, the T124 features a shortened rear mudguard, red stitching on the seat, a more compact headlamp and a black finish on the rims, amorto springs and handlebars.

the Bonneville T214 will be produced in an edition of 1,000, each individually numbered and with a plate fixed to the handlebar base.
