presentation of the 1700 Thunderbird Commander 2016
some characters live in fiction, some motorcycles ride in expression. A little jolt could bring them together. After the dark Storm, Triumph offers a majestic variation on the Thunderbird: the 1700 Commander. This imposing cruiser imposes a strong presence with its twin headlamps and muscular 1699 cm3 in-line twin. With its 94 hp and over 15 mkg, this block moves this vast cruiser in style.
more flashy and with a more relaxed riding position than the Storm, the Commander ensures comfort with a dual-density seat backed by ergonomics more suited to cruising. The chassis has been slightly modified to accommodate the new 140/75 front and 200/45 rear tires. American-style dimensions are to be found everywhere: a 47 mm covered fork, three 310 mm brake discs, almost 2.5 m in length, filled with 348 kilos of steel and chrome. If the Commander wanted to mess with the Harley Fat Boy, he wouldn't have it any other way.
