presentation of the 1700 Thunderbird Nightstorm 2016
With the Thunderbird, big cruiser enthusiasts get a taste of something other than the unchanging Milwaukee V-twin. The Storm version plunges into the dark side, the first step towards rebellion. Triumph has gone one step further with the Nightstorm special series.
like the Storm, it asserts its personality with menacing twin headlights, a twin-cylinder engine increased to 1699 cm3, 98 hp at just 5,200 rpm, big torque approaching 16 mkg, and even more black. From one end of the exhausts to the other, the handlebars, the brake pedal and selector plates, the mirrors - they're all plunged into the night. A new ribbed seat is fitted, lower and more comfortable. As for the fuel tank, it gets a touch of cheek: a hand-painted "Flaming" motif produces a distinctive glittery effect.
Menacing, dark and admirable, this Thunderbird Nightstorm takes you cruising between the roar and the storm.
