WP is still in charge of suspension, and so much the better. The brand knows its stuff, especially in the off-road sector. As for brakes, the 800 Tiger is equipped with Brembo brakes. But it's in the cockpit that the changes are most obvious. A new 5-position adjustable windscreen overlooks a 5-inch color TFT display. This screen adds a touch of high-tech to an already serious package. It can display various types of information and is controlled from the handlebars by a 5-position joystick.
The Tiger XCx is always monitored by disconnectable traction control and ABS. But where the electronic fairy adds another layer is in the riding modes. From three, there are now five, including an Off-Road Pro mode - for manual control while deactivating a maximum number of assistances. Tremble, O dusty roads.
the final configurations are Off-Road Pro, Road, Rain, Off-Road and Sport. The standard cruise control has been revised. As has the riding position, which has been raised by 10 mm on the handlebars.

Since the XR, the XC continues to stand out with spoked wheels and a larger 21-inch front wheel. The duckbill gives the bike an all-road feel, and the suspension has much greater travel.
Back to the standard equipment. The sheer range of equipment not only justifies the premium price, but also makes the accessory department a distant memory. The Tiger 800 XCx offers, in addition to the aforementioned, an adjustable seat height, handlebars and suspension, heated grips, hand protectors, a motorbike shoe and an adjustable rear wheel.hand protectors, an aluminum engine cover, engine protection hoops, two power sockets (12V and USB), a pair of deflectors around the bubble, stitched comfort saddles and an indescribable desire for wild camping.

Facing up to its designated German rival, the Englishwoman sets the bar high and encourages you to try for even more equipment. Far from being indispensable, the Tiger has reserved its LED moustaches, backlit controls and an additional riding mode for the over-equipped XCa version.
