presentation of the CROSS / CROSS TWD 2016
When you think of Ural, you think of fields, sand, snow and anything else that will send you home at night feeling like you've just had a mud bath.
This model sets the bar even higher, offering a rough-and-ready side that's ready to take on anything.
This is how Ural sums up this side:
"...For that, you don't need a comfortable seat in the side. But to attack hard, you don't need adequate space for the classic monkey in the basket, but powerful geometry for the rider who then becomes the co-pilot in his own right: support bars, handles for efficient turning, and geometry designed for the powerful TT. The round-the-world rider needs a watertight, lockable space in the side. The Ural Cross side offers all this. And plenty of buckles and straps to securely attach bags and suitcases. You can load the Cross like a mule!
That says it all!
Engine protection is de rigueur on the Ural Cross, as is the spare wheel. Depending on the version, a spade, jerry can and first-aid box are included or available as accessories (1 or 2 WD).
It should be noted that a "cross kit" is available to enable Ural side owners to transform their hitch. Simply unscrew the original side and screw on the Cross kit. You can then reassemble a more conventional side, as this CROSS model is in fact a SPORTSMAN (for the 2WD version) or a TOURIST (for the 1WD version) to which a crosserized basket has been added.
The 1WD version costs 14590 euros, while the 2WD version costs 15190 euros.
