presentation of the 1700 CROSS COUNTRY 8 BALL 2015
the 8-ball philosophy is now being applied to Cross Country. At Victory, this is the name given to models that become as black as the n°8 billiard ball, and whose stripped-down appearance allows for a significant reduction in price. The Spirit Lake bagger is available in 3 versions: the standard version, which satisfies the majority, the exuberant Magnum version, and here, the dark ghost ship.
a veritable cult of oxymorons for this bike, whose stealthy side expresses itself with distinction to get noticed. Black in profusion, for the bodywork, tank, exhausts, fork covers, windscreen, handlebars, engine... It's enough to make you think you're Darth Vader going on a trip. Unlike the Star of Wars, the Cross Country 8-Ball maintains the notion of comfort under its black cape. Audio equipment is fitted (twin speakers and auxiliary audio cord), hard saddlebags provide 80 liters of luggage capacity, and the big Freedom twin remains true to Victory's pretensions. Modern and powerful in the American style, more discreet and less temperamental than Milwaukee's Twin Cam, this block has no desire to ape the "other" US engine. With a more efficient chassis than Harley's production bikes, the Cross Country 8 ball offers a more playful ride when the mood strikes. As a Touring bike, however, it's more at home on the open road.
this 8-ball version is not yet in the Victory France catalog - perhaps in 2016.
