The young brand from the Huansong group makes a strong impression by lining up 5 models at once, the most accessible of which is this Ranger RX 2000. A long and elegant cruiser with a very classic body. In some ways, it is a bit reminiscent of the old Victory, like the Vegas. Except that to design its machines, X-Wedge did not use copies or an internal design. They turned to Europe.

The models were designed in collaboration with Kiska, the Austrian company known for designing the KTM. Rather renowned for its angular and sharp design, the design office has watered down its fuel in order to achieve a silhouette perfectly in line with the category's standards, almost wise but powerful in its lines.

To power its big bikes, X-Wedge has entered into technical agreements with the American engine manufacturer S&S and can thus manufacture its old block of the same name: the X-Wedge, in its 121 ci version. With a large displacement, the twin announces power figures close to a Harley M8 117 ci. Its 1976 cm3 give it 103 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and a very fat torque (like the sound of the exhausts) of 16.1 mkg at only 3,000 rpm. This engine can deactivate its rear cylinder to avoid overheating when stationary.

The RX 2000 has assets to divert Harley customers, especially if the price is aggressive. With its very classic chassis, it should contain its pricing. A steel tube frame, a good big fork, 3 large brake discs and a seemingly rigid rear end - but it's a safe bet that a shock absorber is hidden under the saddle. Too bad, the oil cooler is too prominent. But the X-Wedge can also count on its equipment to seduce. Chrome everywhere, traction control, ABS, reverse, cruise control, LED lights, and a sound that hammers the other side of the Pacific.
