presentation of the FZ6 600 S2 2007

The changes made to the FZ6 in 2007 are less obvious but just as interesting as on the Fazer version. Less obvious because they're essentially technical. What are they? A new hexagonal-section swingarm, more rigid and more agile, monobloc brake calipers, a revised front mudguard, optimized engine management combined with a new exhaust system, a complete redesign of the seat and instrumentation taken from the FZ1.
Passenger footrests (now removable) are lower and covered with rubber. Small changes for the FZ6 that will make this charming, spirited roadster even more enjoyable to ride.
Alongside it, the 2006 FZ6 remains in the catalog. To distinguish it from the rest, it now boasts just 78 hp and a more affordable price tag. ABS will be available as an option on all versions of the FZ6.

Parfaite pour se faire plaisir
French Maya Model 2009
with 98hp from 4 cylinders, you can't expect twin-cylinder responsiveness at low revs, but the flexibility is there for city driving at peak times. Away from the city, however, all you have to do is turn up the revs a little, and the 98 ponies are ready to sing! It's very maneuverable and rather lighter than its competitors of the time, and the basic position isn't too aggressive, so you can make long journeys without suffering. As for the look, it's a matter of taste, but with the matt black chassis and engine block, and the 2 pots under the saddle, I find it rather cute... Rating : 5/5

2010 model bought two years ago just a regulator hs after one years otherwise apart from injection jerks at low revs and a hard gearbox I am very satisfied (61000 km to date) but Yamaha parts are expensive 2 rubber footrests at 40 euros it is better to see before if there is l\'adaptable Rating : 4/5

using the engine of the r6 sport, i find that the fazer 600 is a good compromise between power and easy driving. like a 600 hornet honda ; a very good light roadster compared to a fz1 1000 yam ; i found a second hand at full power ont vera . Rating : 3/5
Bonne moto.
French Model 2007
I've had this bike for almost 2 years and have done over 10,000 km with it, and I'm very satisfied.

The

Reliable engine, sporty roadster, smooth running even at low revs

The minuses

Gearbox hard and dry, engine hollow under 6000 rpm, neiman not very accessible (but that's a detail).

To sum up, I'd say it's a reliable motorcycle that's fun to ride, but lacks the personality of some of its rivals, such as the Triumph street triple or Ducati monster, but has the merit of being less expensive to buy.

The gears do slam at first (break-in), but after that they shift better and better. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this bike, the only thing that needs tightening is the mirrors from time to time. Rating : 5/5
French Model 2007
So I've had this bike for 1 week! It's a joy to ride, comfortable and easy to handle. The new speedometer is magnificent and my wife is comfortable as a passenger

The only downside is the yam gearbox, which slams and isn't very smooth

A+
