presentation of the 125 SR 1983
an economical custom par excellence, the SR is not a show-off, but rather a utilitarian with a touch of charisma. The SR's urban-friendly design is powered by a solid, slightly vibrating but reliable 4-stroke single, delivering decent performance for city use. Once out of town, the mono runs out of steam at around 90 km/h - optimism and patience are required to gain a little more speed. A bit of a headwind, however, and the mechanics give nothing away above 80 kph. Simple in design, the machine offers decent dynamic performance and comfort features such as an electric starter, a low seat height and a protective chain guard (clothes-wearers will appreciate this). A competitor to the Suzuki GN, it is nevertheless more expensive than the latter.
