presentation of the DTR 125 MX EVERTS 2005
these fun, flashy colors remind you of another machine, in the hands of one hell of a rider!...! Look no further: this DTR Replica features the colors of the YZF 450, the 2004 MXGP world champion crowned by the famous Belgian rider Stéphane EVERTS. Yamaha dedicates this version of the DTR to him, using the official machine's deco. The base remains the same for this 125, which will continue to accompany generations of budding bikers. It's a nice gesture from the Japanese manufacturer to thank this gifted MX rider, who not only won the world championship in all 3 categories, but was also world champion with each of the major Japanese manufacturers.
With these ideas in mind, the playfulness and smell of the 2-stroke single, and the DTR's cool, all-round feel between your paws, you've got enough to make you smile and spread your helmet.

however, some consumable parts are quite expensive, as the bike is no longer manufactured. I own a Yam 125 dtr from 1989, with a restored engine. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Philou
That said, this kind of bike makes you want to go for the big cube (which is what I'm doing) Rating : 5/5 Respond to seb

not much to complain about, except that the front brakes lack bite and power. Personally, I solved the problem by fitting my DT with a Brembo braking kit. In terms of top speed, my machine dates back to July 20001, and I reach 135Km/h (odometer) undisridden. I admit, like "Ging Ging", that the front fork is a little too soft, but this isn't necessarily a drawback, since you can send hard braking without going over the top of the bike (although it does pose a problem for stunt riding, especially stoppies)
But all in all, it's a good machine
Best wishes to all bikers, and happy riding
