presentation of the 125 TUONO 2005

In Noale, the genius of stripping down the RSV and transforming it into an aggressive, super-efficient roadster was enough to whet the appetite for its descendants. The Tuono is now available in R and 125 versions. Compared to the 125 RS, the side fairings have disappeared in favor of an engine cowling and radiator scoops, and the forced-air intakes have been totally redesigned, and now number 2 like on the old RS! The entire frame and swingarm have been given a matt black treatment, while the gold rims are those of the RS SBK model! Like its big brother, the RS SBK features high handlebars mounted on a trigger guard, for easy manoeuvring in town, tenfold agility or, for the more nervous among you, stunt tricks! The standard protective wheels are a guarantee of safety in the event of a fall, as they will at least limit damage in the event of a slide. The headlight unit remains identical to that of the RS, but the shape of the fork head is completely new, considerably slimming down the bike! Last but not least, the passenger seat is also new, less aerodynamically shaped than on the RS, with the emphasis on passenger comfort by offering a flat seat - and that's sure to please your girlfriend! The engine and chassis are the same as on the RS, with no reported changes. The result is an efficient, precise and healthy bike, but one that needs to be kept in the right rev range to get the most out of it.

I'm telling you, guys, I had a Tuono 125 in Switzerland and I had it in Full version, i.e. at 35hp and I can tell you that just with a full arrow line this bike arrahce the 170 easy and without very great distance it's a pure marvel as a 2-stroke its only rival for me is the Cagiva Planet with a pot and a carburetor otherwise the 125 ciao ciao they only saw my butt Rating : 5/5

The 125 Tuono is a dream!
This bike rivals the big boys (600 Bandit, 600 XT, with which I'm used to riding) when it comes to handling and grip in the corners. In fact, when the others are shy in the corners, the 125 TUONO takes them on with uncommon fury. On the other hand, in full version, 34 HP, with all the modifications that go with it, I hooked up to an easy 160, and what speed in the climb to the top of the revs! ), make this bike an aesthetic delight
A lover of safe sensations (impeccable roadholding in extreme conditions! i've already scraped my feet on the bends of the Route des Crêtes in Alsace!), you have at your disposal a new toy that is still unrivalled in the world of 125s!

Hello everyone, I've had my Tuono 125 for over two years now, and I'd like to say to all those who scoff at the reliability of 2-stroke bikes, and especially the reliability of Aprilia bikes, that it's a load of garbage. I've already done over 16,000 km and I've had all my servicing done, and I've never had any problems
By the way, it's true that the bike lacks a bit of power when clamped, even if there's plenty to enjoy, and if you feel like taking it unclamped, then you're in for a real treat (some 500s and 600s could even take a leaf out of the book when it comes to the quality of the chassis)
As far as performance is concerned, I'd like to set the record straight; without any engine modifications and with a properly tuned machine
bridled: 125 to 130 km/h real
unbridled: up to 160 km/h
(speed relative to France due to anti-pollution standards: I don't know if this will change for other countries)

if I may say so: an unbridled aprilia tuono hangs on for a good 125-127 km with its nose in the forkhead... Rating : 5/5

i've had an aprilia tuono for 5 months now and it's a pure bomb! according to the comments, i'm really keen to get it unstuck! the only complaints are the flashers and the original mirrors which aren't very good and which bend (flashers). apart from that, it's great!

I bought a tuono 125 2 months ago it's great I love it but it lacks power!
i just removed the electronike clamp and the air box clamp it already works much better but the pot and the valve are the most important to turn my tuono into a rolling bomb!

it's a great beaker with incredible power and roadholding what a pleasure to drive with only drawback is an engine a little sharp but hey it's something else than a 4-stroke Rating : 5/5

it's a super burner that gives you great pleasure both in terms of acceleration and road holding, nothing to do with 4-stroke, long live 2-stroke Rating : 5/5

French semoule Model 2003
i have a tuono 125, and I'd like to say to all those who scoff at 2-strokes and aprilia reliability that I've never had any problems with it. Also, as for the "mushy engine", this is no longer true once you've debrided it. After 7,000 revs, you get a big slap in the face, and then soar to 12,000 revs if you feel like titillating the red zone. This bike is a pure joy to ride, the only complaint being that the original tires are average. Rating : 5/5
a great bike Rating : 5/5
