presentation of the RSV-R 1000 Factory Pista 2004

for track enthusiasts, Aprilia is offering a Pista version of its RSV-R Factory, designed exclusively for track use. The superfluous (headlights, indicators, mirrors, etc.) have been removed, and anything that can be improved has been added. The titanium exhaust system is a great way of improving the power curve. Up to 10 hp more can be found in the mid-range. Stripped of its road-going hardware, the pistarde loses 8 kg, making it lighter than the new CBR 1000 RR. Knowing that the RSV-R Factory can sniff out a Ducati 999 S and tickle a GSX-R 1000, imagine the Pista's potential. Just in case, a kit to convert the beast for road use will be available - but at what price...?

French Model 2004
i think that the aprilia is superior in power and above all in reliability and maintenance. i ride a 2004 rsvr on the track and i can tell you that i have more trouble accelerating Rating : 5/5
French Model 2004
The Ducati 999R is clearly superior thanks to more advanced technical solutions, ongoing superbike experience and, above all, 150 horsepower and not 130 as you said... compared to 142 on the pista....DUCATI has always been and will always be superior to Aprilia in large-displacement sports bikes Rating : 5/5
French Model 2004
To compare these 2 bikes, you'd have to put them on a circuit and that's it
It's clear that ducati is a very good brand, but it doesn't have the track record of aprilia
The pista is very pretty, but it needs to be tested for power and handling.
Rating : 5/5
French Model 2004
and to answer phil I ask him what proof he has to prove the superiority of the 999r over the Pista, since already in engine power the 999r makes 134 hp and the Pista 143 hp. Long live Aprilia Rating : 5/5
French Model 2004
it is undoubtedly more powerful than the Ducati 999 S, but certainly not the R version
It's worth noting that the Aprilia version presented here is the pinnacle of the range. So we might as well compare it to the pinnacle of another brand, right?
Rating : 5/5
