presentation of the GSX-R 1000 2003

gifted, uncompromising, almost magical, the GSX-R 1000 has been the benchmark on the racetrack since its birth. For 2003, Mr Suzuki has put a little more of the best into everything: lighter (-2 kg), more powerful (+4 hp), new carbon surface treatment on the fork, radial brake calipers... We're not far from MotoGP. The previous generation 's brakes were powerful, but lacked bite - now, with radial calipers, those memories are put to rest: bite and efficiency are top-notch. The fork now works more efficiently, while providing an extra dose of serenity and riding comfort.

Suzuki GSX-R 1000 2003 - 1Suzuki GSX-R 1000 2003 - 1

the block has undergone few changes, but is less violent on re-acceleration, yet just as strong. The new GSX-R is less brutal and more usable, but its strength remains demonic. In use, the machine requires very serious riding skills if you want to make the most of the cavalry. But for experienced riders, it's an indestructible tool of performance and efficiency. New electronic management and excellent braking are the GSX-R 1000's main evolutions, along with a new fairing that finally sets it apart from its 600 and 750 siblings. The new, slimmer tank at knee level makes it easier to squeeze the machine into threads. Combined with a more forward-tilted stance and a column angle reduced from 24° to 23.5°, the beast is even more maneuverable... faster, more powerful, lighter, better braking... eh oh, is there any left for the competition?

Hello, I've had a 2004 gsxr 1000 for a little over a year, replacing a 2006 z1000. Street riding.
Very pleasant to sit on, with great acceleration potential.
Handling at a standstill is a pain, with little steering, and in curves, whether you're comfortable or not, the bike bends without too much effort.
Excessive fuel consumption.
I miss the z1000, which I found much more pleasant...

to answer pierre, this is one of the motorcycles that behaves best on the track or in everyday life in curves that you are not able to hook, this comes from the rider,I have a gsxr 1000 2004 and it is the best handling and most precise in all its movements.compare the many other sport bikes I have had.to finish pierre (FAST DRIVING SCHOOL)BYE Rating : 5/5

Hello, I've owned a lot of motorcycles in the last ten years, especially hyper-sports bikes.
The 2004 Gex 1000 really stands out from the crowd, with fantastic smoothness of use and almost supernatural comfort compared to the nature of the bike (hyper sport), even in town!
In short, multi-make and multi-model, for me this bike is the most enjoyable I've ever owned...

I have a 2003 GSXR 100 full power. It's an incredible bike. Acceleration that never ends, a hell of a ride.superlatives aren't enough.acceleration is lightning fast, even in 6th gear at 2,000 rpm, it picks up without flinching. The cycle .... is a rail!
The sequence of curves at 260+ is incredible. Not being a racer, the bike's potential isn't used to the full, but what a pleasure! Beware, experienced bikers, it's stronger than you!
The only problem is that your licence may soon run out;-)

i rode it as a passenger... I've never sweated so much on a machine like this C t in summer on the roads of the south (Ardèche) and I can tell you that 170 hp at the rear wheel really kicks ass!!! with 2 on the bike on a "short" (because it goes fast) stretch of national 220 km/h a laise. to all motorcyclists salutation Rating : 5/5

it's been a year now that i've owned (or vice versa) the belle and it's still magical. i hesitated with an r1 and i don't regret my choice, even though the yam is sublime, but on a daily basis the suz makes me forget.i do mostly urban and extra-urban riding, and for a sports bike, it's really surprisingly easy. just one criticism, because everything has been said about this monster, and that is that I find the braking very weak, unless you're clutching the lever like crazy. too bad for a master cylinder and radial calipers. The night instrument panel adds a touch of style to the bike! A top speed of 291 km/h is also worthy of note Rating : 5/5

No, but there's nothing to say! it's too good! like lili, I fell in love with it! it was my boyfriend who introduced me to motorcycling, and later I'd like the gsx 500 for women! even if it's not as good and a little less beautiful, it's already good... you have to adapt to its size anyway... A motorcycle is still a motorcycle, in other words, it has a chassis, an engine, 2 wheels and, above all, the ability to turn left or right. Outside this framework, the GSXR 1000 is limited to riding in a straight line at high speed, where it excels. On the other hand, on small, winding roads with lots of bends and difficulties. This bike just doesn't grip. It becomes dangerous. Too bad for her, as this is not her area of expertise. Here are the shortcomings of my GSXR Rating : 5/5
