Finally, an effort has been made to improve the finish. More discreet, the Amazonas consigns its flashy yellow color to the closet, and dons a gray-white hue with a few bronze accents.

The changes are minimal, but enough to make this Trek more of an off-road trail bike: spoked rims with nipple tires, hand protectors, petal-shaped brake discs to break up the landscape.
