presentation of the K 1300 S HP 2012
representing the (very) fast tourer in BMW's range, the K 1300 S is a fine example of the dying breed of Sport-GTs. A combination of comfort and sport, powered by a large 175 hp 4-cylinder engine. For even greater sportiness, here's the HP limited series, with a host of equipment to enhance the beast's potential.
the K 1300 S HP comes in a sporty, elegant white-blue-black color scheme, but it's the added components that justify its name. There's a whole host of parts that you'd be more likely to see on an S 1000 RR than on a K series: it's equipped with adjustable rear controls and passenger footrests in solid aluminum, a shifter, and an Akrapovic silencer combining carbon and titanium.
There's carbon on board too: the front mudguard, airbox cover, clutch housing protection and passenger seat cover are all made from this fiber. A hint of style with a tinted windshield, a touch of mechanical ease with a rear stand, and enhanced riding comfort with a trip computer with a trip computer and heated grips, and electronic assistance with RDC tire pressure control, ASC traction control and ESA II pilot-controlled suspension.
it's all well and good, but not cheap. The bill exceeds 20,000 euros. To further enhance the value of this special series, BMW will produce only 750 numbered examples.

This impression of knowing the bike from the first turns of the wheel. But don't put it in the hands of a young licence holder...

i own a red k 1300 s hp I use it for long rides with a steady pace on main and small roads, especially if they are winding there is nothing to complain about except a liner to maneuver at a standstill that disappears as soon as the first turns of the wheel
bonne route a tous Rating : 5/5 Respond to Serd0169
the options: shifter, Akrapovic muffler combining carbon and titanium, modifiable suspensions are simply top-notch. 6 suspension modes: one rider, two riders, with luggage and these 3 modifiable modes: comfort, normal and sport.
The engine has real torque, and as a 110kg rider, that counts for something.
It's a pity that after an outing, you have to go home.
it swallows up kilometers without tiring.
even neutered, it's got torque.
