being a 4-time World Superbike Champion obviously brings with it a few inconveniences: all the newspapers are talking about you, everyone's talking about you with respect, other riders are bowing down to you, thousands of teenage bedrooms are covered with posters of you, the girls are screaming... too bad! And when you've worked for Ducati, you sometimes get to see your name on a limited series. Carl Fogarty is one of them. His Foggy nickname has already been applied to a special edition 996 SPS - and is now also used on the hot new Monster S4.

the Monster S4 Foggy isn't as affordable as a CB 500 bought on a Sunday from your cousin. To begin with, you had to spend 18,000 euros to buy one of the 300 models produced. Secondly, it could only be purchased over the Internet, as was the case for exceptional models such as the 996 R and 900 Mhe. The 2 high-position mufflers give the roadster an even more streamlined appearance, greatly freeing up the desmoquattro twin, and lightening the machine by almost 5 kg. The sporty identity is also reinforced by the introduction of a carbon/aluminium steering damper and shorter gear ratios.
