presentation of the SCRAMBLER 800 Full Throttle 2019
Alongside the Cafe Racer, the Full Throttle is one of the most responsive variants of the 800 Scrambler. In a manner of speaking, since both share the same 73 hp, as does the entire range. Let's think of it as a more rebellious machine, one that grows a moustache, screams no matter what and eats white spirit for breakfast.
this 2019 evolution puts it much more in the spotlight. The yellow and black theme continues, with much greater proportions for the sun. The Scrambler gains much more presence, directly inspired by Californian rider Frankie Garcia's Scrambler Flat Track, which we saw in the 2018 American Super Hooligan championship.
Beyond the deco, the Full Throttle makes a statement with the addition of number plates, a new seat, thicker aluminum tank panels, a matching seat backrest and machining on the rim spokes. The air-cooled twin gets a black treatment, followed by a brush stroke on the fins.

Ducati takes advantage of the update to introduce new functions: ABS cornering, fuel level and gear display on the dashboard, a new visual signature in the headlight, and the Ducati multimedia system. This allows the rider to pair up his smartphone and then listen to his playlists, answer incoming calls or chat with the passenger via intercom. Just a bonus? Well, not quite. You'll have to contend with 3 extra kilos.
this chapter is far more remarkable than the 2017 grooming, when Ducati's vintage roadster got a revised fuel tank and front mudguard. Let's not forget what distinguishes the Full Throttle from theIcon, the basic Scrambler: the rear end has been trimmed to lighten the stern, the front fender has been reduced to a single sheet of plastic, and the pawl grips a variable-section handlebar that's lower than on theIcon. The Desmo twin expresses itself here through a double Termignoni outlet in a low position. The result is a huskier, more voluble, more virile voice. This comes at a price, but Ducat customers look at more than just price. The Scrambler aims to offer a sporty touch to everyday life, while retaining the light-hearted spirit of a lovable, irresistible scoundrel.
