presentation of the SuperSport 950 S 2021
One wheel on the track, another on the road. That's the Ducati SuperSport proposition. For those intimidated by the sultry Panigales, it offers a taste of Italian sport without the radicalism. A rumbling twin, a lady of delicate finery, a tempo between the stopwatch and the pleasure of sliders... and the need for more tempered efficiency with the S version.
At Ducati, the S symbolizes membership of the high-end suspension club. For some bikes, like the Multistrada, this means electronically managed damping. But most models will be equipped with Öhlins. The SuperSport 950 S, for example, is fitted with gold legs, designed to grace the curve rather than reveal it.
In place of the 43 mm Marzocchi, we discover a large-diameter 48 mm fork. Its tubes are treated with titanium nitride for improved sliding. Behind, a shock absorber from the same company. Of course, the suspension can be adjusted from all sides, giving you a more effective feel for the road.
More rigor alone is not enough. The SuperSport S has character and charm. A little coquetry goes with it, with a body-color-matched seat backrest and red rim trim.
It would have been nice if Ducat' had also offered the DMS multimedia kit, or installed a few lighter components to symbolically reduce the weight. At 210 kilos, the 950 SuperSport is not an anvil. But....... When it comes to sliders and machine-related discussions, ego always plays a more or less important role.

Let's be clear: 4.3" TFT screen, traction control, IMU, ABS cornering, wheeling control, 3 riding modes, LED lights + DRL signature, Up&Down shifter and anti-stoppie system.
A whole range of features shared with the standard model. Last but not least, the S variant is here to make the sporty GT profile that this bike has introduced even more palatable.
Since the 939 SuperSport S, the price of the 950 has increased only slightly. But that doesn't mean the price is low.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 3 reviews
As you can see, from the point of view of someone who never puts his tires on a racetrack, it's very difficult to find fault with the Supersport. Except, perhaps, its selling price, but in exchange, you ride a Ducati with premium mechanical (brakes, hydraulics, etc.) and electronic packages. To be consumed without moderation.
