presentation of the Hipster 250 2017
FB Mondial seems determined to make a name for itself, and why not recapture some of its mid-twentieth-century celebrity. Not on racetracks, victories or performance, but with style. That's what the Hipster roadster is all about, and its neo-retro-bobo look looks set to wow many.
with its good looks, poise and leather upholstery, this machine is destined to make a name for itself in the neighborhoods where people talk. In the 125 version, the available power may not be enough. So the Hipster is also available in 250.
A redesigned version of the Piaggio mono? We don't think so. Of course, the internal dimensions are different, but so is the timing. While the HPS 125 has dual ACT, the 250 boasts just one. Mondial must have borrowed an engine from an Asian supplier, where 250 /300s abound. Once this search for identity has been put aside, it's easier to appreciate the clear increase in power available. With this chunkier single, the Hipster produces 25 horsepower. A guarantee of comfort to quickly extricate yourself from a situation or prevent the engine from collapsing as soon as the going gets rough. Torque also benefits, almost doubling to 22 Nm. All to the good of this 130-kilogram featherweight.
