presentation of the Pagani 125 Sport Classic 2019

FB Mondial is a small-scale manufacturer today. Yet there was a time when its models dominated the dreams of the young, when victories clung to its wheels, when the name commanded respect. It was after the war, at a time in history when legends were born.

this is what the Pagani 125 remembers. Beneath its neo-retro sports car look, the body of the HPS is cleverly covered by a striking fairing. The shapes are perfectly matched to the fuel tank. The spoked rims are in keeping with the tone, but with the good reason that the mixed tires have been fitted for a more on-road look. The fender's pronounced vertical cutout is a surprise, but it's not long before the eye is drawn to the gray and blue layers - the colors of the old compèt machines. The spirit is maintained with half-handlebars gripping the inverted fork. In short, it's not just a case of dressing up, but a real desire to offer a machine that really pops. It has to be. For the Italian sports a proud name, one that is anchored in its body, even to the point of being sewn onto the saddle. That of the brand's most emblematic driver, Cirillo Pagani.

FB Mondial Pagani 125 Sport Classic 2019nostalgia, however, has no hold on the engine. The 125 cm3 single-cylinder engine is in tune with the times, passing Euro4, delivering 15 hp from its 4 valves and dissipating its calories with liquid cooling. Is it new and unknown? No, it's already making waves in Aprilia's 125 range. The heart is Italian, the honor is partly safe. But the bike had to bow to the pestle of globalization. An FB Mondial takes shape in the world's largest factory: China.

this is not a flaw. And you'd never know it when you see it in action. Exhilarated by the "70th anniversary" decor, Mondialists will have at hand a 133-kilo machine powered by 11 kW and calmed by a 300 mm petal disc clamped by a 4-piston caliper. It's also equipped with ABS, and a rear brake featuring a 220 mm disc with a piston at work.
Interestingly, it's one of the least expensive machines in its segment, almost on a par with a GSX-R 125.

French Model 2019
Beautiful, accessible and fast, but under 6,000km. The engine doesn't seem to be made to go beyond that. After that, it'll make a pretty decoration in your living room. Rating : 1/5
French Model 2019
No regrets, bought just over a year ago as my first bike. 3000 kms covered, a real pleasure, I'm not experienced enough to compare it to other bikes. Really great design, chassis, nothing to say, and what an engine!!! racy at high revs but Eco at low revs. I'm doing 200 kms with 6L. Original chain replaced + battery. Tires apparently not terrible but in the dry I have no problem, but in the wet ... thank you ABS. Position not too radical, I do quite a few kms 200/day without any problem. One fault, the Chinese finish, I had to do some finishing (varnish protection) on the beginnings of oxidation. I recommend Rating : 5/5

Purchased in 2020. the 125 and 250 (somewhat inappropriately called 300... but we won't hold that against them...) share exactly the same structure. As for me, I've got 7,000 km at the end of 2023.
Perfectly maintained and no serious problems to report. I just changed the chain kit for a more serious one, and the same for the battery. Apart from that, no problems whatsoever. An excellent little classic sports car, ideal for weekends on small country roads. Quite powerful and powerful. It feels like riding a bike from the 70s and 80s, but with the safety and convenience of the 2020s... I don't ride it every day, just for leisure rides. In that context, it seems very reliable.
Rating : 5/5
bought on special offer in 2020 2990 e excluding registration fees. 7000 km to date excellent 125 with an oversized chassis in relation to its engine, since it shares it with the pagani 300 strong points: -aesthetics -no competitor in this class to date - piaggio 125 engine sharp but very powerful and playful.
very reliable and found on many 125s, aprilia rs4s etc... -braking -road holding -contrary to what one might suppose, very correct riding position by playing with its position on the saddle weak points: -original rear view mirrors...a real danger and to be changed imperatively!!! -the original tires in the rain, to be changed too!!! -duo impossible unless you envisage a definitive separation after the ride -the chain of poor quality, to be replaced as soon as possible by an o'ring -some reliability problems with the peripherals due to a less-than-rigorous Chinese inspection process, tightening hose clamps and other plate supports.... nothing complicated if you're a bit of a motorcycle mechanic, otherwise it's back to the garage... all in all, as far as I'm concerned, the quality/price/pleasure ratio is unbeatable. I'm delighted with my purchase to date

agile, high-performance 125 motorcycle
strong points
-roadholding
-performance (for a 125 4T)max speed 121Km/h trip meter
-braking
weak points
-rear view (you can see your elbows)
-limited range (approx. 200Km)fuel tank (only 9.5L)

Very good bike for beginners, the position is a little sporty but still comfortable
(comfort more firm than soft....)
