Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1690 DYNA STREET BOB Special Edition FXDBB 2014 Bobber with hot sauce
presentation of the 1690 DYNA STREET BOB Special Edition FXDBB 2014
the Street Bob renews its Special Edition for 2014, with a very different taste from the previous opus. The 2013 model stood out not only for its acidulous, almost punkish styling, but also for its engine - the standard Street Bob was powered by the 96 ci, while the SE was powered by the 103. This year, there's no need to be jealous, as all Dyna models can be powered by the optional Twin Cam 1690.
the Street Bob SE's cheeky side has been toned down. No more red paint on the spoked rims, no more flamming effects. Even the ape-hanger handlebars of the standard Street have disappeared. In its place, a drag-bike element and advanced foot controls (from the Sportster 72) greatly modify the riding position. It's time for a rebel's attitude, no longer the relaxed approach of a prowler (road-eur?).
No longer quite standard and not yet C.V.O., the Street Bob is more desirable in this special edition. And with good reason: it draws its inspiration from Harley's Factory Customization program, with some very attractive effects. Gone are the spoked wheels, replaced by Split Five aluminum wheels with 5 split spokes machined into diamond shapes. The machine forgets selfishness, adopting a Badlander two-seater seat. The Street Bob SE plays on styling elements with a tank, advanced controls, risers and handlebars taken from the Fat Bob, a truncated rear fender and two-tone "Mysterious Red Sunglo and Silver" paintwork with hand-crafted motifs.
beneath the stripped-down look of a loud-mouthed Bobber, the Street Bob belches out steel and twin-cylinder slaps with its big, fat 45° twin. The block on this Dyna FXDBB develops 76 hp at 5250 rpm. Torque, on the other hand, is greatly increased on this version, with an extra 1 mkg. It peaks at 13.6 mkg instead of 12.6 at 3,000 rpm. The machine also takes on a few kilos, but is this really important when you're talking about 307 wet units?
This particular Street Bob is only intended for certain continents. Surprisingly, Americans won't see it. Its wheels and chrome will only be available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and in limited numbers.

on the other hand, it replaces the 2014 special edition (the two-tone one that already set the tone) and not the 2012, so it looks like the next one will be for 2019... Rating : 5/5 Respond to Landrax
excellent riding with lightness in the corners and aggressiveness in recovery;
i also have a Street Glide, a real tourer for two-up riding; the Street Bob is still a great solo bike. superb machine... Rating : 5/5 Respond to TITS 63
