Last year, the CVO Road Glide showed a certain wisdom in its colors. This is in stark contrast to its equipment, which has been further enhanced for 2020. The FLTRXSE has become more technological than ever. What more could Milwaukee's most menacing and luxurious bagger hope for!?!! By entering the CVO department, the Road Glide passes into specialized hands, gains first-rate prestige, and becomes a most singular temptation. Splitting the road and putting pride first - this is how the machine expresses its full potential.

This season, it's back to its provocative self, with hard-hitting color definitions, or silky with Bronze Armor. Each definition influences the appearance of the engine, exhausts, fork tubes, controls and several metal sections. A desire for skin-deep prestige, which is only conceivable with significant mechanical thickness. The Milwaukee engine-makers gave it its biggest, and pushed it even further in displacement.

Harley-Davidson 117 CVO 1920 Road Glide FLTRXSE 1923 cm3... 117 cubic inches... a monster. MoCo had never made anything so big. The Milwaukee Eight explodes with luxury as Scream'in Eagle. This is one of the exclusivities of the bikes worked on by Custom Vehicle Operations. Apart from the numbering on the air filter, very Hot-Rod-style, it's only recognizable by the lower rocker covers colored in 'Blaze Red'. It's only when driving that it reveals its true personality. And its strength: this increase in displacement brings its torque to a peak of 17.2 mkg. An even higher value than the previous edition, which was equipped with the same engine and already produced 16.9 mkg. Less representative but nonetheless significant, rated power reaches 105 hp, delivered at 5450 rpm. These figures are a little pale in comparison with the more significant sounds of this big road cruiser.

Less transcontinental than the Ultra version, the CVO Road Glide plays bad boy. The bow splits the trip with a large 21-inch Combo front wheel. The new rims are striking, with their spokes set in honeycombs. This Road Glide is fitted with a V-shaped fairing, subtly adorning the chest and enhancing protection. Safety features include the latest RDRS system, combining active cornering ABS, interconnected brake force distribution, angle-sensitive traction control, electronic engine braking control, hill-start assist and tire pressure monitoring

Harley-Davidson 117 CVO 1920 Road Glide FLTRXSE when it comes to pleasure equipment, this opulent machine borrows the best from the H-D collection, with the BOOM BOX GTS (165 mm color touchscreen, Bluetooth, hands-free phone, radio, USB, MP3, GPS, Apple CarPlay, wireless headphones and intercom), an evolved version of the 6.5 - the system is faster, more intuitive and features a better display. It also features Stage II speakers, each rated at 125 watts RMS. The audio system was developed by Rockford Fosgate, a specialist in on-board sound systems. One of the saddlebags houses a 4-channel, 400-watt amp. CVO also supplies Boom 30K* Bluetooth wireless headphones, a top-of-the-range saddle, and a set of selected parts, such as heated grips to match the selector, brake pedal, muffler tips and footrests from the Kahuna collection. Enough to arouse the senses, and burn the fingers of even the stoutest wallets.

The CVO Road Glide now benefits from H-D Connect. A service enabling the bike to communicate with an app. Sitting on the terrace or bubbling on the sofa? With the smartphone, you can consult some info on the bike (battery charge, fuel level, remaining range, tire pressure, trip mileage, riding stats, etc.), be informed when a service is approaching, receive an alert when the bike moves (attempted kidnapping of the wheel) and share its GPS location with the police.

* The Boom! 30K helmet is designed to work wirelessly with the Boom! Box GTS infotainment system. It incorporates the very latest in wireless communication technology: the Mesh Intercom network. The device automatically connects to an almost unlimited number of bikers in public mode, and cuts off lost group connections when someone is out of range. The device can connect to more than 16 bikers in private mode at a distance of up to 8 kilometers, offering the same functions as a wired headset (CB, telephone, navigation information, radio and audio, voice commands) and meets the requirements of the Apple Carplay microphone installed on the Boom! Box GTS system. A quick-charge function offers up to 5 hours of additional operation after a 20-minute charge.
