The Tri Glide is another way to travel on a Harley-Davidson.... and to travel at all. Three wheels, no corners, a tanker's weight and no risk of crashing. A genuine curiosity, provoking surprise wherever it goes. The G.I. edition even more so. It's like something straight out of an American military base.

It' s as if the WLA had eaten half a car. Harley makes a memorable reference to it with the khaki green "Mineral Green Denim Deluxe" color, a modern clone of the "Olive Drab" used on the ancestor from the 30s/40s. The big star typical of US Army tactical vehicles is featured on the tank and rear trunk.

As with the Pan America Special G.I., this special edition inaugurates the new "Enthusiast" collection within the range. Only available in limited quantities, and only in the USA.
But perhaps subsequent models will be exported to other countries; they will be based on the same principle of thematic celebration. Selected Harleys from the catalog will be launched each year in an "Enthusiast" version.

Harley is not making any technical changes, with no special accessories or military police helmet with the Tri Glide Ultra G.I. But fans of the genre will have to fork out an extra $2,400 to afford the decor. Violent Uncle Sam.
