presentation of the CB 1000 R+ 2019
The new CB 1000 R turns a page in Honda's 10-year history. An episode of robotic daring, battered by a race for power, design and unbridled technology. After a time of threat, the roadster comes to take its share of Neo Sport Café.
You don't need a spoon, but an espresso or a ristretto are often accompanied by a bit of shock or a mignardise. It's the same here, with Honda offering an accessorized version under the name CB 1000 R +. So there's no need to rummage through the catalog; the manufacturer has taken care of that. With just the right measure to make the bike more flashy, without going overboard.
A dose of fun first, with heated grips and a shifter to boost shifting. Other accessories are devoted to style: aluminum panels for the front and rear mudguards, a deflector above the dashboard, a radiator protection grille and a seat cover.
It's all part of a wink before and after giving free rein to the expression of its 145-hp, 4-cylinder engine. A streamlined silhouette, upside-down forks, radial calipers, single-sided arm, traction control, 4 riding modes, engine brake control - the machine is well equipped. This '+' adds a further 1,500 euros to the price of the CB 1000 R.
