presentation of the CB 1100 EX Final Edition 2021

It 's time for the CB 1100 to say goodbye. With it, it's more than just a motorcycle that's taking its leave. It's also the death knell for one of the last big air-cooled engines. Honda pronounces the end of the road with a definitive special edition.

The tribute is sober, like the silent respect that can be expressed to the last descendant of a clan. Two colors are available, burgundy or black, embellished with large eyelashes on the tank. But they won't be enough to identify this CB 1100 as a special version. For that, you'll have to estimate the little sticker under the fuel filler flap. This is the only sign on board identifying the "CB 1100 Final Edition".

No other additional attributes. Everything that makes this neo-retro so attractive is already there. A pure reinterpretation of the CB 750 "4 legs", with an 1140 cm3 4-cylinder engine that's as pleasing to look at as it is to ride. Here, no electronics, no furious power, no outrageous fashion... just bike and velvet. A good dose of chrome too, beautiful spoked wheels, an ultra-classic look and a flawless finish.

The CB 1100 EX Final Edition is your last chance to hear the characteristic rattle of engine fins as they cool. Standards no longer give this style of engine a chance. Nor does Europe. This latest CB 1100 EX (along with the RS) is only available in Japan and certain Asian countries.

Too beautiful, with a remarkably smooth engine and top-notch braking!
Only drawback: a little too heavy, despite a fuel tank that holds just 18 liters.
